1 Capital Quarter was opened in 2014 and is one of the area’s hallmark developments, providing high-quality office space to the likes of the Development Bank of Wales.
Cardiff City Council has invested heavily to improve its cycling infrastructure in recent years and our team was hired by 1 Capital Quarter to ensure their tenants can make the most of this.
After an initial consultation with the client, we were given the objectives of delivering a highly secure storage area that is convenient for users whilst matching the modern architecture of the premises.
To this end, two Binfield Cycle Shelters with jet-black powder coating were selected for the project, with their minimalist cantilevered canopies providing a stylish, weather-protective cover for user’s bicycles.
30 Semi Vertical Cycle Racks were also installed at the site, providing secure bike storage that makes optimal use of the area’s limited footprint.
Finally, jet-black powder coated High Security Anti-Climb Mesh Partitioning with a digital lock was installed to provide a secure perimeter and access control for users.
All these products were custom-made to the dimensions of the allotted space and come with a 10-year manufacturing defects guarantee, providing the team at 1 Capital Quarter with the confidence that this is a solution that’s built to last.
