4 Maple Street is a 110,000 sq. ft. commercial property in Fitzrovia, London.
Completed in 2007, this modern building provides spacious offices alongside a retail area that is home to the likes of Itsu, Leon and Rush Hair & Beauty.
With the high volume of workers travelling to and from the property bringing an increased need for cycle parking spaces, we were called upon to facilitate this growing demand.
An initial no-obligation survey was undertaken at the site, with the client emphasising the need to provide a high security solution that is prepared for cycling’s future trends.
Following this consultation, our team manufactured, designed and installed a bespoke high security enclosure to meet these requirements.
Grated Security Fencing and 80mm x 80mm SHS uprights were selected for the bike store’s perimeter, accompanied by a single swing gate with fob access control and PIR lighting to provide a comprehensive security package.
A Public Maintenance Stand, 15 Folding Bike Lockers and 9 Semi Vertical Cycle Rack spaces, all powder coated to a memorable ‘Red Oxide’ RAL 3009, were also installed at the site.
These products enable secure storage for different bicycle types, whilst the Public Maintenance Stand facilitates safe cycling for all commuters.
Finally, a 24 space Two Tier E-Bike Rack with integrated 13A 240V plug sockets was added, future-proofing their facilities against the capital’s growing number of e-bike users.
This project is a brilliant example of how our team can successfully optimise a limited space to create a high impact bike parking area that is ready for the future of cycling.
